A Série: O céu e o inferno ficaram completamente desalinhados desde os eventos apocalípticos do season finale da 5ª temporada. E agora, monstros, anjos e demônios perambulam em um cenário caótico e sem lei. Dean Winchester, que tinha se aposentado das caçadas e jurado nunca retornar, se encontra atraído novamente para sua antiga vida, com o incentivo de ninguém menos do que Sam Winchester, que escapou do inferno. Os dois se reúnem para derrotar a crescente corrente de criaturas e demônios, mas eles rapidamente percebem que nenhum deles é mais o que costumava ser, que o relacionamento deles não é mais o mesmo e que nada é o que parece ser.
